  • Firefox blocks pop-up windows.
  • It's more secure against viruses and spyware.
  • It keeps Microsoft from controlling the future of the internet.
  • It's better for web designers and developers.
  • Features like tabbed browsing make reading webpages easier.
  • Firefox features an extensive Extension API which allows additional functionality to be added to Firefox.
  • Internet Explorer has numerous Cascading Style Sheet bugs which Microsoft will NOT fix. View Bug List.
  • Mozilla actually cares about fixing bugs, and evolving their product.

It seems everytime I sit down and start to work on this site several hours disappear and I'm still sitting in front of it. Well I'm finally happy with the framework of the site, so now you can look forward to articles starting to show up. I did a huge reshuffle of the site everything was in one directory which is just to clutter for my own liking so now everything is in subdirectories, there were so many links to deal with so please email me if you notice a broken link, or can suggest a good tollerence webpage testing software. I've started working on the System Buying Guide, some new cool products have shown up in the last couple days, one that I've been expecting and one that rather surprised me. After a few more products come to the market I'll write a summary of a current wise investment as far as upgradability, usuability and maybe a little bit of value. But right now this stuff is cutting edge, so give it two months and it might well be value priced.

Well graduation is only months away now, it's been a long three years but I feel enriched by the process. Also now that I have some time in my private life again there will start being plenty of changes on the website (starting with this new design (retired new design May 2005) thanks to Loki Designs for the input). Look forward to seeing this webpage in PHP (I've got to learn PHP first so don't be surprised if it is actually done in Perl)/ SQL within the next couple months. I also plan to start writing a buying guide for hardware, and for anyone looking to upgrade if you upgrade through me you will receive a discount from Discovery Computers.
